Position Overview

The GoFundMe Pro team is searching for our next Field Marketing Events Manager. This role will be instrumental in creating high-impact event experiences that generate pipeline, strengthen brand presence, and build lasting relationships with nonprofit customers and prospects.

Responsibilities

Event Strategy & Planning

  • Identify and prioritize industry events aligned with business goals and audience needs.
  • Develop a strategic event calendar to drive pipeline, retention, and brand awareness.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to create integrated, localized events that deliver ROI and brand impact.

Execution & Activation

  • Lead end-to-end event logistics, including vendors, venues, budget, and on-site execution.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all experiences, including speaker alignment and content development.
  • Partner with stakeholders to host roundtables, meetups, and forums that highlight product innovations and deepen customer engagement.

Measurement & Optimization

  • Define and track KPIs, report on event impact, and use insights to refine strategy.
  • Continuously improve event formats and messaging to maximize ROI.

Cross-Functional & Strategic Alignment

  • Act as the connective tissue between Marketing, Sales, and Product, ensuring events reflect current business priorities and customer needs.
  • Share field insights to guide messaging and product strategy.
  • Support GoFundMe’s annual flagship event, Collaborative, with a focus on sales and customer engagement.

Requirements

  • 8–10 years of experience in field or event marketing, preferably in B2B SaaS or nonprofit technology.
  • Proven track record of executing events that influence pipeline and build brand equity.
  • Deep understanding of the event lifecycle—from strategy and logistics to content and measurement.
  • Strong collaboration skills and experience working closely with Sales, Customer Success, and cross-functional teams.
  • Creative, agile, and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Cvent, Swoogo, and/or other event management tools.
  • Comfortable working with distributed teams.
  • Ability to travel up to 35% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, ideally in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
