Requirements

• Desirable: Library preparation, or NGS experience

Responsibilities

• Provide remote Second-level field applications support to customers and channel partners (C.P) across the LATAM EM region.
• Document customer and channel partners (C.P) interactions in SFDC and respond to district inquiries by email.
• Develop, write, and edit technical documentation and training materials for internal and external customers, including webinars, seminars, and courses.
• Participate in ongoing training to maintain proficiency with Illumina’s products.
• Work with the commercial team on sales calls to give technical and applications assistance in response to customer inquiries.
• Applies basic problem-solving techniques to define and resolve routine issues.
• Determines a course of action based on guidelines.
• Works on assignments of limited scope where answers can be readily obtained and problem solving requires following standard practices/procedures.
• Develops working relationships internally.
• Exchanges standard/basic information with colleagues, immediate supervisor, project leaders, and other professionals in the team/group.
• Requires guided leadership and receives general instruction on work/new assignments.
• Work is reviewed periodically based on a set of defined procedures or precedence.
