Candidates must be fluent in English, possessing a Bachelor's degree in a scientific field such as Biology, Biochemistry, or a related discipline. A strong understanding of library preparation techniques and Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) is desirable, along with experience in the LATAM EM region.
The Field Applications Scientist will provide remote second-level field applications support to customers and channel partners, documenting interactions in SFDC and responding to inquiries. They will develop and edit technical documentation and training materials, participate in ongoing product training, and assist the commercial team on sales calls with technical assistance. The role involves applying problem-solving techniques to resolve routine issues, determining a course of action based on established procedures, and working on assignments of limited scope with guided leadership.
