Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in clinical lab science, biological sciences, or a related field, with over 5 years of experience in technical support, field service, or field applications, preferably within the IVD sector. Experience in managing and developing people in technical or service roles is essential, along with familiarity with immunoassays and IVD systems. Exposure to LIS/middleware platforms, complaint handling, QA/regulatory frameworks, and CRM tools are considered a plus. The role requires the ability to travel up to 25%, including international destinations, and necessitates a passport and valid driver's license.
The Field Applications Manager will guide, mentor, and develop Field Application Specialists, supporting their professional growth through coordinated training, mentoring, and evaluations via field visits. This role involves coordinating team scheduling to meet customer needs, collaborating with the Technical Services team and leadership, and championing quality documentation for training and customer use. The manager will also act as a subject matter expert for products, deliver technical presentations, contribute to tradeshows and onboarding events, and stay informed on industry trends by sharing product feedback.
