Employment Type: Part-time Location Type: Remote (within Germany) Salary: €15–17/hour (base salary for up to 20 hours/week)

Position Overview

Via's mission is to improve transportation and mobility worldwide. From optimizing our daily commutes to reducing our society's ecological footprint, we have ambitious goals. As a Fahrer Recruitment Specialist (m/f/d), you will play a central role in building Via's driver network in Germany. In this position, you will be responsible for the entire recruitment process – from outreach and candidate care to the successful hiring of new drivers for our services. You will develop and implement innovative strategies, work closely with recruiting partners and agencies, and contribute to providing a positive experience for drivers and passengers across Germany.

This is a part-time position that can be performed remotely, as long as you reside in Germany.

Responsibilities

  • Support Via's driver recruiting for the entire DACH region.
  • Collaborate closely with our central Supply Planning team to plan and coordinate hiring goals for all our services.
  • Coordinate on-site appointments with our local Field Teams and manage scheduling for onboarding and training of new drivers.
  • Answer applicant questions and coordinate appointment bookings throughout the entire application process, ensuring an excellent candidate experience.
  • Take responsibility for our drivers' master data and ensure that new employees meet our compliance standards.
  • As a real-time point of contact, prioritize operational challenges and find creative solutions to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
  • Work conscientiously with an interdisciplinary team to further develop operational processes, systems, and tools to support our growth.

Requirements

  • At least 1-2 years of work experience (including internships).
  • Native German speaker with good English skills.
  • Empathetic and enjoy building trusting relationships. You understand that everyone has a unique background and can adapt to diverse personalities, cultures, and communication styles.
  • Strong communication skills – written and verbal – and comfortable interacting with people from all walks of life, whether by phone, in person, or via email.
  • Proactively tackle challenges and quickly find thoughtful solutions.
  • Enjoy working in a team and can collaborate effectively with internal colleagues, recruiting partners, and external service providers.
  • Highly value providing a great experience for drivers and the communities they support.
  • Well-organized and able to manage multiple application processes simultaneously.
  • Experience in high-volume recruiting or fast-growing environments (e.g., Customer Support) is a plus, but not required. We encourage everyone to apply – give us the chance to learn about your skills. We all learn on the job and look forward to seeing the value you bring to the role and Via!

What We Offer

  • 100% Home Office – as long as you live in Germany (if remote work isn't for you, you can also work in our beautiful office in the heart of Berlin).
  • State-of-the-art work equipment to ensure you can work worry-free.
  • The opportunity to work for a company with a strong mission: to improve the quality of life for those who need it most.
  • Salary Framework: €15–17/hour base salary for up to 20 hours per week. The final compensation will depend on your experience, knowledge, and skills.
