Responsibilities

Perform daily maintenance tasks to ensure facilities are exceptionally clean and organized
Empty refuse containers
Disinfect, clean, and maintain common employee and client areas, including restrooms, kitchens, conference rooms, and lobbies
Remove, install, clean, and maintain product dispensing equipment such as soap dispensers, paper towel dispensers, and other dispensers
Change batteries, test for proper operations, and adjust dispensing quantities
Clean and maintain plumbing fixtures; change batteries in automated faucets, urinals, and toilets; remove and clean aerators/screens; install automatic flush valves; test fixtures and adjust for proper operation
Wash and clean mirrors to a streak-free finish
Wipe down and clean all horizontal counter surfaces
Wipe down and clean all sinks, including faucets and soap dispensers
Use appropriate cleaning methods to ensure all toilets and urinals are cleaned and free of stains
Sweep and mop floors to ensure they are free of dirt, debris, and foreign material
Restock paper and feminine hygiene products and sanitize all high-touch areas
Use ladders and associated equipment to clean windows, overhead lighting, air diffusers, exposed pipe, ventilation, and other elevated building attributes
Transport trash to the appropriate collection point and deposit
Reorganize conference rooms to the standard layout provided by the Facilities Services Supervisor
Perform routine maintenance on all floor surfaces, including carpet, vinyl, and tile
Extract carpets and furnishings as needed
Apply protectant to extracted carpets and upholstery
Perform deep cleaning methods to strip and refinish floors; use and maintain hard floor maintenance equipment
Perform other scheduled facility maintenance tasks and assist Facilities Department
Assist in event set-up and furniture moves
Move furniture and equipment; arrange tables and chairs for conferences and events
Perform set-up and breakdown of events, including tables, chairs, and related items
Be on standby during events to handle spills and remove trash
Recognize immediate and potential safety hazards and pursue appropriate actions to resolve and report
Perform daily inspections of facilities and document according to Company procedures
Plan and perform projects, request supplies, perform work requests, and request equipment repairs
Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Perform other related duties as assigned
