Responsibilities

  • Develop the Express strategy, with full ownership of price, promotions, and P&L performance
  • Act as the voice of the Express customer, challenging Commercial teams to deliver the right ranges and Innovation
  • Lead communication and alignment across the Commercial teams, driving strategies that balance customer needs with commercial objectives to deliver growth and profitability
  • Gather data through competitor visits, trade shows, and collaboration with Category Managers
  • Use technology to make informed pricing recommendations
  • Stay close to stores and own category data for Asda Express, turning insight into action
  • Build and communicate clear strategies while upskilling trading teams through convenience immersion sessions, ensuring decisions are customer-focused and commercially sound
