Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field, with an MBA or advanced degree preferred. They must have 15+ years of experience in executive or senior-level recruiting, either in-house or at a retained search firm, and demonstrate proven success in hiring VP and C-level roles across various functions such as Engineering, Product, Sales, Finance, and Operations. Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills are required, alongside a deep understanding of executive compensation, market mapping, and candidate assessment. Proficiency with ATS platforms and sourcing tools, along with an emerging understanding of AI, is also necessary.
The Executive Recruiter will own the full-cycle recruitment process for VP-level and C-suite roles, including research, sourcing, candidate assessment, and offer negotiation. They will build and maintain exceptional relationships with executive leadership to understand hiring needs and organizational goals, including succession planning and maintaining contact with the market for key roles. The role involves developing creative sourcing strategies to attract passive talent, acting as a trusted advisor to senior leadership by providing insights on market trends and talent availability, and ensuring a high-touch, white-glove experience for candidates. Managing relationships with retained search firms and external partners, as well as championing diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of recruiting, are also key responsibilities.
