Responsibilities

  • Serve as a thought leader and strategic advisor to senior leaders on trends and innovation in the pricing and reimbursement/access space
  • Proactively identify and translate market insights into strategic perspectives and actionable recommendations for senior leadership, including serving as an “early warning system” on opportunities/challenges and developing solutions with stakeholders
  • Develop and implement strategic thinking frameworks (e.g., scenario simulations, blind spot analysis) to develop strategic perspectives and interpret market access implications of landscape changes
  • Ensure timely and accurate dissemination and interpretation of relevant pricing and market access trends to internal teams (e.g., via executive briefings)
  • Rapidly provide thorough and insightful analyses and perspectives in response to specific queries, ensuring clarity and strategic relevance
  • Lead a dynamic team and oversee the systematic monitoring of market trends, competitor activities, and news within the global market access and pricing landscape
  • Build and maintain a prioritization framework to focus attention on the trends/intelligence areas most relevant for BMS’ current and future portfolio
  • Develop and maintain a robust system for tracking and analyzing market developments (e.g., sources, tools, analytics, processes)
  • Design and maintain an info-base of the latest innovations, trends, and disruptions to enable quick responses to specific queries
  • Manage and develop the I&I team, including hiring, managing team scope and capacity, and creating growth opportunities for all team members
  • Proactively incubate novel opportunities for BMS to experiment, innovate, and lead in market access, across payor/reimbursement models, value-based pricing, GTN management, contracting, customer engagement, and new channels
