Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role, demonstrating expertise in engineering practices and processes
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering projects within a manufacturing environment, including equipment installation and construction
  • Strong proficiency in project management methodologies, such as Agile and Six Sigma
  • Experience with processing equipment, throughput, and comprehensive understanding of manufacturing processes
  • In-depth knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

  • Work through the processing, development, build, implementation, and startup at plant facilities
  • Monitor and control project plans, investment required, timelines
  • Monitor project progress, identify and resolve roadblocks, and mitigate risks
  • Ensure adherence to engineering standards, best practices, bill of process, bill of equipment, safety, and regulatory requirements
  • Develop statement of requirements for Tooling and Equipment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution and successful product launches
  • Provide technical direction to and oversight of strategic suppliers
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the Manufacturing Engineering, Strategic Suppliers, and Product Engineering
  • Meet project budgets/forecasts and drive cost reduction initiatives
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in manufacturing engineering
