Requirements

1 year of housekeeping experience (hospital experience ideally) – preferred
2nd shift availability: 11am, 12pm, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm, or 4pm start times
Weekend availability required

Responsibilities

Daily cleaning and supplying of patient rooms, treatment rooms, restrooms, utility rooms, nurseries, nursing stations, lounges, offices, waiting areas, and other areas as assigned in accordance with standard policies and procedures
Use applicable cleaning equipment, products, and supplies in performance of job responsibilities
Remove trash and linen from the facility
Effectively clean and sanitize patient rooms and departments utilizing the proper cleaning methods, equipment, and chemicals, including bathrooms, walls, windows, doors, floors, and carpets
Empty trash, wastebaskets, and linen hampers and transport soiled linens according to department standards
Clean and maintain trash chute room floors, walls, and vents
Assist with distribution and storage of supplies
Safely and securely handle and transport medical waste; ensure medical waste storage areas are secured at all times
Clean and organize janitor closet per department and regulatory standards; ensure janitor closet is locked and secured at all times
