Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the EHS management system for GE HealthCare, with a primary focus on contract manufacturers
  • Partner with contract manufacturers to ensure compliance with GE HealthCare EHS standards, local regulatory requirements, and best practices in safety and sustainability
  • Lead pre-safety start-up reviews at contract manufacturing sites
  • Oversee the completion of annual written certifications of compliance from contract manufacturers
  • Conduct and oversee periodic audits and inspections of contract manufacturing sites
  • Assess and manage risks associated with contract manufacturing operations
  • Ensure that contract manufacturers provide appropriate EHS training to their workforce
  • Provide operational assistance during EHS-related incidents, including investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation
  • Ensure that contract manufacturers comply with all relevant EHS regulations
  • Work closely with GE HealthCare’s senior leadership to align EHS goals and strategies with overall business objectives
  • Advocate for a strong safety culture and sustainability in all manufacturing operations
  • Support EHS teams across GE HealthCare’s global operations
