Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering or other technical/science degree
  • 2+ years of sales experience, familiarity with or science background preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication, and presentation skills in English
  • Computer proficiency in MS Office and the internet
  • Interpersonal skills, ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Proven commercial excellence working in a matrix environment
  • Available to travel overnight approximately 40% of time

Responsibilities

  • Achieve forecasted sales goals for territory, supporting external partners and selling directly to customers
  • Provide support and assistance to customers, OEM’s and engineering firms that will improve long-term business results and relationships
  • Meet and exceed customer requirements including overall communication, responsiveness, cost awareness and scheduling sensitivities
  • Maintain and continue to develop an outstanding knowledge of our products and their applications
  • Provide forecasts, weekly reports, marketing intelligence and information to supervisor and other company personnel as required. Employ Salesforce.com every day for updating and adding notes, customer information, etc
  • Report sales data reliably through CRM and other tools
  • Maintain effective customer relations, develop opportunities for growth within an existing customer base, and assure market penetration and profitability while achieving sales and profit forecasts
