Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Biology, Ecology, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in environmental permitting and compliance, ideally within large infrastructure projects (transportation, highways, bridges, P3)
  • Strong working knowledge of NEPA processes and related federal, state, and local permitting frameworks
  • Experience working with DOTs, FHWA, USACE, EPA, and state environmental agencies
  • Familiarity with environmental regulations including the Clean Water Act (CWA), Endangered Species Act (ESA), and National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA)
  • Excellent technical writing, communication, and coordination skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced bid or project environment
  • Prior experience with design-build or P3 infrastructure projects
  • Knowledge of stormwater management, erosion & sediment control, and construction compliance monitoring
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CEP, CPESC) are a plus
  • Familiarity with GIS tools and environmental modeling software

  • Analyze the lines of innovation to implement within the function, according to the specifications of each project, in order to develop new processes and work tools that optimize the systems and techniques applied
  • Ensure a sustainable environmental impact in all activities carried out by the organization, including introducing guidelines for continuous improvement to promote sustainable conduct
  • Promote sustainable use of materials used
  • Raise awareness among employees of the importance of the environment through continuing training
  • Communicate and report on the company’s environmental management
