Candidates should have experience in protecting and managing macOS fleets, deploying and managing endpoint security solutions, and working with public cloud service providers like Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure. Familiarity with identity and access management frameworks and protocols such as SAML, OAUTH, and SCIM is essential, along with knowledge of email security protocols like SPF, DKIM, and DMARC. Intermediate or advanced proficiency in a scripting language, such as Python or Bash, and understanding modern adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures are also required. The ability to empathize, collaborate, and independently manage projects while prioritizing risk reduction is important.
The Enterprise Security Engineer will develop and implement security measures to protect the company's information assets from unauthorized access. They will monitor internal and external systems for security threats and respond to alerts. The engineer will contribute to and enforce IT and Security policies, work with the IT department to harden infrastructure, and advise employees on best practices for security. They will devise sharing controls to protect company data, employ security models like 'secure by default' and 'zero trust', identify and remediate vulnerabilities, and use AI-driven models for improved security detection and response. Additionally, they will educate employees on data security importance and contribute to security roadmaps by staying updated on security threats.
