Enterprise Sales Engineer

Candidates should possess experience as a Sales Engineer or Pre-Sales Engineer, with a minimum of three years of experience selling into Enterprise and Mid Market prospects, and experience with MEDDPICC or Command of the Message sales frameworks. They should also have experience in container technologies such as Kubernetes, Serverless, and Docker, as well as cloud technologies like AWS, Azure, and Google, along with experience in cloud security or container security and app security, and ideally, experience in a startup environment.
The Enterprise Sales Engineer will partner with the Sales Team to help customers evaluate and prove the value of the Chainguard solution, focusing on acquiring new customer logos and growing the existing customer base. They will own all technical aspects of sales opportunities, assist current customers in understanding the value of Chainguard, listen to customers to understand their challenges, conduct product demonstrations and Proof-of-Concepts (POCs), and actively participate in webinars, meetups, conferences, and other marketing initiatives.
Supply chain risk management and audits
Chainguard specializes in managing risks in supply chains, particularly for businesses that rely on software. They conduct audits to identify risks and provide detailed reports with recommendations for improvement. Their unique offering includes a curated base container image distro, which helps businesses transition to secure software environments. Chainguard also provides supply chain observability services, allowing companies to track their software's origins and dependencies.
