Enterprise Account Executive

Candidates should possess a proven track record in enterprise software sales, ideally with experience in open source, APIs, and/or infrastructure software, and a desire to see customers benefit from their investment with Kong. Experience selling into global enterprise accounts and familiarity with entrepreneurial settings are highly valued. Strong communication, interpersonal, negotiation, presentation, and closing skills are required, along with a motivated and results-oriented approach.
The Enterprise Account Executive will be responsible for selling the Kong Enterprise Platform to enterprise customers, meeting individual quota and objectives, taking ownership of their book of business, providing account leadership, and contributing to analysis on wins/losses. They will also be expected to travel to customer sites as needed, leverage established relationships, and ensure pipeline accuracy based on evidence, ultimately driving customer acquisition and growth.
