Requirements

  • Demonstrable sales experience selling B2B software applications, on-demand/SaaS, Security Solutions & IT Infrastructure Management solutions
  • Proven track record of selling to technical audiences (IT Operations, Security, Dev/Ops leaders and practitioners) and engaging with Economic Buyers (C-level and Procurement teams)
  • Ability to deliver impactful and persuasive oral and written communications
  • Ability to build compelling presentations in conjunction with Sales Engineers for PoVs, Professional Services, and commercial business cases
  • Demonstrated customer focus by building effective relationships, identifying/meeting/exceeding expectations, and treating customers with dignity and respect
  • Ability to manage territory by establishing accurate plans and forecasts, prioritizing efforts, generating short-term results while maintaining a long-term perspective
  • In-depth knowledge of given industry and relevant marketplace, with ability to speak with authority
  • Experienced and highly motivated tech-savvy sales professional, consistently in top 10% of sales teams, with track record of growing sales, creative/consultative approach, initiative, and polished presentation skills
  • Hunter mentality, able to balance high-velocity deals with larger complex deals, working with channel partners

Responsibilities

  • Target, manage, and sell to new and existing customers; exceed revenue quota goals
  • Demonstrate ability to address each customer and partner's unique needs, providing relevant information and appropriate solutions
  • Work alongside dedicated Pre-Sales Engineer to deliver compelling demos, discovery, and technical solutions meeting customer business and technical needs
  • Align with dedicated SDR to create compelling outreach campaigns and generate sales pipeline
  • Qualify and manage inbound leads through the sales funnel
  • Close and process all prospects, managing end-to-end sales lifecycle with Pre-Sales Engineers, Professional Services, Sales Operations, Deal Desk, Legal, and Marketing teams
  • Engage with Channel Partners and Alliances to extend market reach
  • Work closely with Customer Success Team for client reviews
  • Create and deliver accurate sales forecasts
  • Provide timely and insightful input to corporate functions, particularly Product Management and Marketing
