Hands-on experience with public cloud environments (AWS, GCP) using Kubernetes, Docker, and IaC tools like Terraform

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and set the vision for a scalable platform that enables Whatnot engineers to develop product features quickly while ensuring a stable and secure customer experience
Hire and develop engineers across all platform applications and backend systems
Collaborate with product engineering and infrastructure engineering counterparts to set the team's strategic direction and advocate for technical platform solutions to grow Whatnot
Plan and manage projects, coordinating and aligning your team’s goals with others across the business
