Requirements
The ideal candidate will have several years of experience managing a team of engineers, significant experience with cloud-native infrastructure and backend technologies, and the ability to create and maintain a positive, healthy team environment. Experience managing a remote team and a proven track record of scaling teams and services are also required.
Responsibilities
The Engineering Manager will help set and support strategic direction for the team, drive alignment, and be responsible for team results in support of company objectives. They will collaborate with senior individual contributors to create technical visions, work with cross-functional partners to define solutions, and scope and plan key deliverables. Additionally, they will drive execution with an emphasis on iterations, quality, velocity, and communication, provide technical leadership, coach individual contributors, and recruit and retain top-tier talent.
