- 4+ years of experience as an Engineering Manager
- Strong coding, design, and architectural skills with hands-on technical expertise

Responsibilities
- Lead a team of 10-20 software engineers, fostering ownership and impact
- Drive on-time, high-quality product delivery
- Drive adoption of engineering best practices
- Work closely with Product Managers to maintain a holistic view across engineering and product
- Contribute to engineering and product strategy, including wearing a product manager hat when needed
- Help the organization scale and grow by attracting and grooming the best talent
- Drive better efficiency and process improvement for the team’s and product’s operations
- Be hands-on in technical architecture/reviews and contribute to code when needed
- Own the ultimate outcome and success of Payroll at Workstream
- Work closely with product and engineering to jointly scope R&D roadmap for mid-market and enterprise implementations
