  • Proven experience leading software engineering teams

  • Ability to support technical decision-making through systems thinking, architecture knowledge, and an understanding of engineering best practices

Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership & Growth: Coach, mentor, and inspire engineers to grow their technical skills and thrive in their careers — shaping future leaders and innovators
  • Strategic Delivery: Own the end-to-end delivery of complex products, ensuring your team(s) ship impactful solutions that meet business needs — on time and at scale while also considering how AI can enhance these solutions
  • Roadmapping & Prioritization: Collaborate with Product and Customer Success to create roadmaps that strike the right balance between innovation, speed, and system health
  • Process & Performance: Foster efficient ways of working, drive continuous improvement, and implement metrics that ensure your team(s) stay focused and successful
  • Communication & Alignment: Act as a liaison between engineering and other departments, championing clarity, alignment, and shared goals across the org
  • Technical Guidance: While you won’t be in the code daily, you’ll work closely with technical leads to influence architectural decisions and uphold high engineering standards
  • Culture & Engagement: Champion Showpad’s engineering culture — embracing a “you build it, you run it” mindset, encouraging experimentation, and celebrating wins big and small
