Requirements

Candidates should possess a Diploma or ITE in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field, and a minimum of three years of experience in Manufacturing Assembly. They should be proficient in using Microsoft Office, Microsoft Visio (or equivalent), and email applications, and demonstrate the ability to complete tasks to specified requirements and apply basic methodologies.

Responsibilities

The Engineering Assistant/Technician will support the introduction of new products to the manufacturing facility by working with Industrialization Engineers to ensure optimum product and process design for manufacturability. They will document production floor layouts, create Documented Work Instruction (DWI) files and process diagram files, collect data on manufacturing processes, help execute prototype and pilot builds, and assist in developing and implementing cost reduction and process improvement projects. Furthermore, they will communicate effectively both verbally and in written form to a broad audience, collaborate with others to achieve common goals, and use facts and logic for influence.
