Experience in leadership, development, coaching, and performance management of teams, including providing feedback, guidance, performance reviews, onboarding, and training
Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships across all levels of the organization
Ownership of accuracy and timeliness of performance metrics, shift hand-offs, work plans for emergency repairs, and escalation processes during downtime
Commitment to safety, acting as a safety ambassador by eliminating equipment safety hazards and promoting safe working practices
Collaborative skills to work with other department leaders to achieve engineering and maintenance goals

Responsibilities

Provide strong leadership to Maintenance Technicians, Utility Attendants, and EAM Software Technicians, cultivating urgency and quality focus
Enable high performance of the supply chain facility through reliability-centered maintenance
Work with building leaders to optimize use of material handling equipment
Manage external contractors and handle emergencies while on call
Manage multiple projects and daily activities to meet timelines
Develop continuous improvement in the team via data-driven daily processes, root cause elimination, defect handling, breakdown elimination, planning, and scheduling
Lead team development, coaching, performance management, feedback, guidance, reviews, onboarding, and training
Oversee accuracy and timeliness of shift performance metrics and develop shift hand-offs for maintenance continuity
Develop work plans for emergency repairs of critical assets and oversee escalation during downtime incidents
Act as safety ambassador, promote safe working across the site, and eliminate potential equipment safety hazards
Collaborate with other department leaders to accomplish engineering and maintenance goals
