Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, or related field
3+ years of proven experience in internal communications or employee engagement
Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills
Basic graphic design skills using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or equivalent tools
Demonstrated ability to create impactful digital content (newsletters, intranet, graphics, videos, emails) that drives measurable engagement
Strong organizational and project management skills, with a track record of delivering results under tight deadlines
Experience in measuring multi-regional communication and engagement effectiveness using analytics or survey tools
Results-driven mindset with the ability to connect employee engagement and communications to measurable business outcomes
Strong storytelling skills to make HR programs clear, compelling, and action-oriented
Practical design expertise to deliver polished, brand-aligned communications at speed and scale
Strong partnership skills with a track record of building trust and alignment across HR, Learning, IT, and business stakeholders to drive execution and adoption
Data-driven mindset with the curiosity and discipline to leverage metrics, feedback, and technology insights to optimize communication strategies and prove ROI
Responsibilities
Own the end-to-end delivery of HR communications and engagement initiatives, ensuring campaigns are executed with speed, efficiency, and measurable impact
Create compelling digital content (intranet articles, newsletters, emails, graphics, videos) that strengthens employee connection to Skechers’ culture, values, and global people strategy
Manage and optimize communication calendars, aligning messaging with critical HR priorities such as onboarding, recognition, performance, and leadership development
Partner with the Learning & Engagement Technology Manager to drive adoption of LMS and engagement platforms, linking usage to productivity and talent outcomes
Streamline and standardize communication processes to reduce redundancy, improve consistency, and maximize ROI across all channels
Track, analyze, and report engagement metrics, using data-driven insights to continuously improve effectiveness and demonstrate business value
Operate with a hands-on ownership mindset—equally skilled at drafting content, designing assets, and presenting outcomes to leadership
