Proficiency in Klaviyo is required, with experience in Hubspot being a plus, and a comfort level with data and the ability to translate it into actionable insights is also necessary. Strong organizational and project management skills are needed, and experience with considered purchase cycles, the ability to switch between different business models (CPG, media, education), and an interest in health, wellness, or personal development are considered beneficial.
The Email Marketing Manager will build and manage email and SMS flows to support product discovery, course consideration, and content engagement, owning campaigns from brief to execution including writing, audience segmentation, and reporting. They will work with creative and data teams to improve messaging and target key points in the customer journey, run A/B tests to improve performance metrics like open rates, clicks, and conversions, and use performance data to inform strategy and campaign planning.

Propel distinguishes itself from competitors by specifically targeting the needs of low-income individuals who are often neglected by traditional tech solutions. The company's goal is to enhance the user experience of America's safety net and to raise awareness about critical issues like Medicaid churn, ensuring that users can navigate these challenges effectively.
