Requirements

Strong understanding of systems engineering methods, toolsets, and processes
Experience of a complex system’s product development (ideally Weapon System systems design and validation)
Experience working across the full engineering development lifecycle
Experience of carrying out systems integration
Understanding of Electromagnetic Countermeasures and Electromagnetic Support / Surveillance systems
Strong record of delivery
Experience in capability assessments and road-mapping
Track record of building effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Experience in requirements management toolsets (e.g. DOORS)
Must hold, or be willing to apply for, DV clearance (British Citizen or Dual UK national with British citizenship)

Responsibilities

Ensuring various aspects of a Weapon System’s EW capability (covering system design, integration, and operational context / applicability) is fit for purpose
Ensuring the associated design is developed within required timescales and budget
Acting as the EW requirements authority for elements of a Weapon System
Acting as the EW System design lead for elements of a Weapon System
Collaborating with suppliers, customers, and a large range of internal and external stakeholders
