Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in field electrical engineering, particularly within industrial operations. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to prepare written reports detailing maintenance activities and technical information.
The Electrical Field Engineer will supervise and perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, modification, installation, and commissioning of electrical equipment in various facilities, including production plants and third-party sites. They will provide technical support for commissioning new plant equipment, review and verify installations, conduct function checks, and ensure adherence to safety standards. Furthermore, the engineer will respond to electrical breakdowns, analyze faults, repair equipment, and re-commission affected plant, contributing to minimizing production loss and supporting plant maintenance schedules.
