Requirements

  • At least 5 years of retail experience (ECI experience is a plus)
  • Previous team management experience is a plus
  • Ability to conduct interpersonal interactions with customers and company personnel
  • Provide coaching to staff, troubleshoot, solve problems and escalate if needed to ECI Operation Manager
  • Operate within defined processes and guidelines, and effectively according to timelines
  • Prompt response/return of phone calls, emails and requests for information or assistance
  • Skill in operating personal computers, POS systems and various software packages including Microsoft Word and Excel

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Columbia Sales Associates employed for the assigned ECI concessions in Spain (onboarding, training, goal setting, leaves, performance management), with the support of the ECI Concession Operation Manager and the HR department
  • Participate in the hiring process with the ECI Concession Operations Manager and the HR department
  • Coordinate with ECI Human Resources and the ECI Operations Manager to manage staff schedules, ensuring alignment with each location’s specific labor rules, timeframes, and public holidays. Scheduling should also reflect sales performance and peak trading periods to ensure optimal coverage and support across all centers
  • Train, motivate and encourage staff related to all areas of effective store operations
  • Create a comfortable environment for all the staff. Be supportive with the team
  • Review operational reports and records, as well as team attendance to ensure ECI team adherence to Company policies and procedures
  • Perform weekly analysis of sales by concession, send weekly results and provide recommendations with action plans to increase performance for the assigned concessions
  • Follow up day to day operations within the assigned Concessions
  • Provide support and prepare assigned concessions for Sales periods and specific concessions activities (ski season, etc.)
  • Assist with Concession openings and closures as needed
  • Coordinate concession openings and closures in collaboration with the ECI Operations Manager, ensuring alignment with operational timelines
  • Coordinate implementation of new Company processes, policies or procedures for assigned Concessions
  • Participate and support with trainings: new hires, product seasonal trainings, policies, procedures, new concessions, etc
  • Serve as point of contact for ECI Human Resources department and ECI Operations Manager
  • Coordinate with the Human Resources department regarding schedules, holiday tracking, signature of time sheets as well as all HR paperwork for new joiners and existing staff
  • Follow up with the team with the KPIs provided and work with the ECI Operations Manager in action plans when needed
  • Oversee product needs across all assigned concessions, ensuring timely support during key commercial periods, including peak trading moments, additional replenishments, and strategic reinforcements. Maintain close coordination with the Retail Operations team together with the Retail Operations Manager to guarantee efficient and aligned product flow across locations
  • Participate in the engagement initiatives and encourage employees to participate in the activities
  • Visit the different concessions (70% of the time) according to the established plan with the ECI Operations Manager
  • Be in contact on a weekly basis with ECI Management team to ensure the correct performance of employees
  • Perform any other relevant task for the position in coordination with the ECI Operations Manager
