Driver Recruitment Specialist

Position Overview

Via is transforming transportation globally, aiming to improve daily commutes and reduce environmental impact. As a Driver Recruitment Specialist in Germany, you will be instrumental in building Via's driver network. This role involves managing the full recruitment lifecycle to attract, engage, and onboard drivers. You will develop recruitment strategies, manage relationships with partners, and ensure a positive experience for drivers and riders.


Responsibilities

  • Support Via's driver recruitment for the entire DACH market.
  • Collaborate with central supply planning teams to meet hiring targets for various services.
  • Coordinate on-site appointments with local field teams and manage the scheduling of driver onboarding and training.
  • Respond to driver candidate inquiries and manage appointment bookings throughout the recruitment process.
  • Maintain driver base data and ensure new hires meet compliance standards.
  • Act as a real-time point of contact, prioritizing operational issues and implementing solutions.
  • Work with interdisciplinary teams to scale operational processes, systems, and tools to support rapid growth.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience (including internships).
  • Native-level German and intermediate-level English proficiency.
  • Empathy and strong relationship-building skills: Ability to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and communication styles.
  • Excellent communication skills: Proficient in written and verbal communication, comfortable engaging via phone, in person, or email.
  • Proactive problem-solver: Ability to provide quick and thoughtful solutions to challenges.
  • Team player: Effective collaboration with internal teams, recruitment partners, and external vendors.
  • Commitment to excellent experience: Dedicated to providing a great experience for drivers and the communities they serve.
  • Organizational skills: Capable of managing multiple recruitment pipelines simultaneously.
  • Bonus: Experience with high-volume or fast-growth recruitment or customer support.
