Requirements

High School diploma, GED, or equivalent (preferred)
Proven ability to communicate articulately and perform simple arithmetic
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
Good problem-solving skills
Strong customer service orientation
Frequent moving of product up to 50 pounds during the shift; infrequent moving up to 80 pounds
Must be able to climb on and off the box of the truck
Frequent bending, squatting, pushing, and pulling
Exposure to bright lights, extreme temperatures, loud noise, dust, gas, and/or fumes
Ability to move product on a two-wheeler or forklift
Ability to work in a cold warehouse environment
Must be able to work in confined spaces
Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions (hot weather, rain, and extremely cold temperatures)

Responsibilities

Safely and efficiently delivering and unloading products sold to customers according to customer specifications and Company’s delivery procedures at customer locations
Develop and establish good relationship with customer by providing excellent courteous service
Carries out all instructions as directed by the Driver
Learn route to various locations
Assist and guide the Driver during maneuvers when entering and exiting loading bays
Assist Driver in repositioning items which may have shifted in route and ensures all loads are secured properly
Perform Inventory of all products before and after delivery
Follows directions from the Driver in offloading specific items at various locations
Follows instruction from Supervisor in depositing returned items to staging area
Work safely by following Company’s preferred work methods of lifting with the legs
Removal of products, pallets, and equipment at the completion of routed deliveries
Offloading trailers as directed by Warehouse Supervisors
Other duties as assigned by Management
