Responsibilities

Set and maintain Pharmacist schedules for stores in the district (60%): create and maintain templates, schedule DSPs, cover pharmacist vacations, maintain staffing contingency plans (e.g., call-lists), track vacation balances, send reporting/reminders, partner on vacation approvals/LOA/RA scheduling, utilize base hours effectively, review HUB/HOB use, and escalate financial risks like Hours Under Base
Track and submit pharmacist payroll weekly (10%): enter regular/non-work time (e.g., vacation, sick), shift/market-specific requirements (e.g., night rates, predictability pay), and perform quality assurance review per CVS Pharmacist Payroll Administrative Guide
Seasonally manage vaccine clinic scheduling (10%): input clinics into schedule 3 weeks in advance, check daily for requests, revise pharmacist schedules for coverage, prevent client escalations via proactive planning, and ensure coverage for store pharmacists' secured clinics
Support coordination of scheduling in pharmacies across the market to ensure timely publication with coverage and contingency plans
Support scheduling and staffing of outside immunization clinics, maintaining client relationships and preparing teams
Partner with Rx DL to identify and close gaps in PIC/POA registrations for each pharmacy with the state Board of Pharmacy
Escalate and follow up on issues impacting pharmacy operations (e.g., TempAlert excursions, Service Channel tickets, store supply ordering, exception reporting, audits)
