Responsibilities

  • Set and maintain Pharmacist schedules for district stores (60%): create/maintain templates, schedule DSPs, cover vacations, maintain staffing contingency plans (e.g., call-lists), track vacation balances, report/remind on vacation usage, partner on approvals, support LOA/RA scheduling, utilize base hours effectively, monitor HUB/HOB, escalate financial risks like Hours Under Base
  • Track and submit pharmacist payroll weekly (10%): enter regular/non-work time (vacation, sick), shift/market requirements (night rates, predictability pay), perform quality assurance review per CVS Pharmacist Payroll Administrative Guide
  • Seasonally manage vaccine/immunization clinic scheduling (10%): input clinics 3 weeks in advance, check daily for requests, revise pharmacist schedules for coverage, prevent client escalations via proactive planning, ensure coverage for store-secured clinics
  • Support Rx DL with administrative tasks: partner on PIC/POA registrations with state Board of Pharmacy, escalate/follow up on operational issues (e.g., TempAlert excursions, Service Channel tickets, store supply ordering, exception reporting, audits)
  • Support scheduling/staffing of outside immunization clinics, client relationships, and clinic team preparation
