Entry-level position
Availability for on-call and storm assignments
Must maintain annual CIP certification

Responsibilities

Install, commission, troubleshoot, and maintain remote terminal units (RTUs)
Manage Distribution Electric Grid devices as green energy resources are integrated
Work independently or as part of a team on SCADA system-related assignments
Program and troubleshoot machine language, firmware, software, and protocols for SCADA equipment (RTUs, data concentrators, HMIs, communication systems, servers, applications, etc.)
Create and update configuration and drawing files for SCADA systems (circuit breakers, reclosers, line sensors, smart switches, feeder metering, alarm dialers, IEDs)
Troubleshoot electrical and electronic equipment
Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, wiring diagrams, and documentation
Operate various electrical and electronic instruments for testing and calibration (voltmeters, ammeters, oscilloscopes, etc.)
Identify and analyze communication systems
Provide input to reports, drawings, and logs
Obtain clearance for work on critical operating equipment
Compliance and maintenance of Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) systems
