Requirements

  • 10+ years experience in software development
  • 5+ years as a technical architect
  • Experience interacting with business and product partners to gather the right requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering software using Agile methodologies
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience working in commerce and eCommerce products
  • Customer focused and understand architectural fundamentals for cloud-native solutions, preferably in Azure or GCP

  • Master's degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science or related field
  • Expertise with cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform
  • Experience working with teams across multiple locations (distributed office working experience with US headquarters)
  • Excellent technical abilities with strong business, organizational, and analytical skills

Responsibilities

  • Design technical architecture solutions that span multiple commerce platforms and include integration with multiple systems
  • Design the right interfaces and technologies to make solutions accessible by multiple teams
  • Focus on the end customer experience while ensuring designs are resilient
  • Provide technical leadership to engineering teams
  • Build partnerships with cross-discipline team members
  • Analyze current solution designs to optimize and provide design improvements to handle business growth
  • Coordinate with business teams to identify future needs and requirements
  • Mentor teams to define design and development standards, engineering practices, and incident management
  • Leverage business and domain acumen to interpret and translate business requirements to architecture/technology plans
  • Solve complex technical challenges such as integrating multiple data systems via multiple protocols, implementing real-time decision solutions for millions of customers, and migrating to public cloud
