Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field, or equivalent work experience, with a minimum of 3 years of experience managing teams related to websites, SEO/paid search, and organic/paid social media. They should have significant experience with all aspects of the inbound marketing function and processes, including experience partnering with executive leaders in Sales, RevOps, and Product. Furthermore, experience with B2B marketing in the technology industry (IT Security and SaaS marketing a plus), managing marketing budgets, forecasting/reporting results, and utilizing Salesforce and Google Analytics is required. Strong analytical skills and the ability to extract meaning from data are also essential, alongside significant management experience overseeing teams of 2 or more individuals.
The Director, Web Strategy and Digital Marketing will be responsible for identifying and executing opportunities to build the KnowBe4 brand and acquire new customers through websites, SEO, paid search, paid/organic social and other inbound strategies, overseeing the expansion of websites including knowbe4.com and other related sites. They will manage inbound marketing team members and processes to achieve company goals, execute strategy for inbound marketing channels, measure and optimize inbound marketing programs, identify and evaluate new marketing programs and vendors, collaborate with marketing team members to maintain a consistent brand voice, review and approve promotional content, stay up-to-date with digital marketing trends, identify and manage marketing agencies and vendors, and provide recommendations regarding employee management.
