Requirements

  • Bachelor degree with a minimum of 10 years of experience in a relevant role or industry with a focus on Retail, Sales, Merchandising or similar
  • Strong understanding of the SEA&I retail landscape; knowledge of sports apparel and footwear market is preferred
  • Extensive experience working with external customers and stakeholders, deep knowledge of retail and wholesale
  • Proven success in leading cross-functional teams toward a shared vision
  • Confidence and expertise in creating, leading, and driving account strategies
  • Comfortable leading account conversations, interpreting commercial and retail metrics, and presenting to, influencing, and partnering with external retail leaders
  • Experience navigating internal stakeholders locally and globally to manage business results and strategy
  • Retail or commercial management and marketplace expertise in retail stores, sales, digital, product, partner management, and financial acumen
  • High attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-oriented approach
  • Strong ability to partner, influence, and communicate effectively in a highly complex matrix environment with multiple business functions
  • Comprehensive understanding of retail, business, and commercial metrics and KPIs, with the ability to interpret sales and analytics data to make decisions and recommendations

Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with our strategic account at both store and head office levels to align on Nike’s strategic direction and ensure premium brand execution at retail
  • Co-create, own, and champion the Strategic Plan to drive growth, elevate the consumer experience in our partner stores, and expand brand presence and market share
  • Lead cross-functional and partner teams through seasonal Go-To-Market (GTM) processes and customer alignment to deliver seasonal priorities
  • Drive sustainable, mutually profitable growth and strengthen Nike’s position within the retail landscape
  • Deliver business results with direct accountability for key seasonal and fiscal year sales, revenue, and inventory metrics
  • Collaborate and align retail and operational capabilities to achieve the integrated marketplace vision
  • Own key processes including strategic planning, franchise contract management, seasonal sell-in execution, trading terms, business performance reviews, proactive order book management, and growth alignment
  • Lead, coach, and develop direct reports
