Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree, with a Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field being preferred. A minimum of 7-10 years of progressive healthcare operations leadership experience is required, including at least 3 years at a director level. Proven experience in leading operations within value-based care, Medicaid, or safety-net populations is essential, along with strong financial and P&L management experience. Prior experience in building, scaling, or turning around multi-site or multi-market healthcare operations and experience influencing physician and clinical leaders are highly desirable.
The Director, Regional Operations will lead and manage local operations for corporate and clinical staff, partnering with the Market Medical Director to align clinical operations with business performance goals. This role involves developing, tracking, and reporting on market-level KPIs, driving patient access, scheduling optimization, and care team efficiency. Responsibilities include anticipating and addressing operational risks, acting as the primary liaison between local market operations and national shared services, and leading workforce planning and resource allocation. The position also requires building and maintaining strong relationships with community stakeholders and payer partners, and fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and alignment with the company's mission and values.
