Product Management Lead

This role reports to the VP of Product Management and can be located in our Bellevue, WA office, or remotely from anywhere in the US where Smartsheet is a registered employer.

Responsibilities

• Deeply understand customer needs to build products with great market fit.
• Create and communicate a compelling vision for integrated solutions that enhance collaborative work.
• Define the product roadmap, break down work into a prioritized plan, and execute effectively.
• Assess opportunity, project feasibility, approach, and scope.
• Collaborate closely with design and engineering to create compelling, high-quality customer experiences.
• Manage ongoing trade-offs in market fit, usability, cost, and performance.
• Drive projects to completion, providing detailed progress metrics during development and insightful analysis post-launch.
• Analyze market trends to inform new product recommendations.
• Manage a team of Product Managers, ensuring clear goals and responsibilities, providing guidance for excellence, and constructive feedback. Build a work environment that attracts and retains talent.
• Support other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience delivering end-user products that successfully achieve business objectives.
• 10+ years of experience as a product manager for a software product, with a preference for B2B or B2C cloud experience.
• 10+ years of experience as a people manager.
• Experience in Enterprise software development.
• Experience working with UX and engineering teams, with a deep commitment to customers and team collaboration.
• Passionate drive and exceptional ability to communicate with customers, colleagues, and executives.
• Passion for web-based business software.
• Ability to evaluate and discuss technical concepts.
• Experience with agile development processes and frequent product release cycles.
• Experience contributing to suites of products or within scaled software releases.
• Experience working with data analytics and visualization.
