Requirements
The Director of Solutions Engineering requires 12+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering with at least 5 years in a management role, demonstrated experience in managing remote teams across EMEA and North America, and proven ability to uplevel Solutions Engineers in solutions architecture and ROI value selling. Technical proficiency in areas such as application integration, Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, MQTT, and Cloud Platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) is also necessary, along with development experience in Java and MQTT. Strong English communication skills are essential.
Responsibilities
As the Director of Solutions Engineering, you will lead, coach, and empower a team of Solutions Engineers, fostering collaboration and innovation while ensuring successful delivery on customer needs. You will collaborate with Sales, Product, and Management to provide pre-sales technical thought leadership and hands-on engagement, training your team to act as trusted advisors and recommend best practices. You will oversee the design and implementation of solutions, provide technical leadership in Proof of Concepts (POCs) and prototypes, and speak at industry events to advance business opportunities and address customer concerns, ultimately ensuring the success of the sales cycle.
