BODYARMOR is seeking a Director Customer Sales, Meijer and Hy-Vee to lead a cross-functional team in delivering business results across the assigned territory. As a key leader, this individual will be responsible for leading annual planning processes and negotiating annual agreements to ensure alignment and execution towards aggressive business targets. This role requires subject matter expertise to resolve complex customer issues and deliver on annual goals. The Director will also manage two direct reports who oversee Kroger East and West division call points.

Responsibilities

Customer Development

  • Serve as the strategic leader for the Meijer and Hy-Vee customer relationships on behalf of BASN.
  • Oversee the fuel center business related to each chain (Meijer Express and Fast and Fresh).
  • Drive processes and execution of annual plans across assigned customers and bottlers.
  • Deliver key business and financial metrics, including topline results (Revenue, Volume, Share) and financial metrics (trade spend and T&E budgets).
  • Partner with Sr. Management and cross-functional team members to build Annual Plans aligned with short-term and long-term business objectives.
  • Lead annual negotiations to establish optimized partnership agreements that support overall organizational priorities.
  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team to develop and implement customer selling stories, providing key insights to achieve execution metrics (Assortment, Shelving, Pricing, Merchandising, and Innovation).
  • Oversee ongoing account updates and performance reporting against key metrics, problem-solve plan gaps, and recommend solutions to achieve business objectives.
  • Manage and complete administrative duties required by the customer (contracts, new item forms, etc.).
  • Utilize strong data and insights knowledge to support storytelling in sales.

System Leadership

  • Participate in system routines (CCLT, Customer Core Teams) to provide customer updates, including annual plan targets and elements, ongoing performance, and action plans.
  • Collaborate closely with Coca-Cola sales teams to maximize mutual goals, results, and execution.
  • Build and leverage relationships with BASN teams and Bottlers to ensure alignment and focus on delivering key customer objectives.

Cross-Functional Communication and Collaboration

  • Provide ongoing updates on customer plan results and opportunities to BodyArmor management.
  • Participate in key cross-functional routines to provide plan updates and ensure flawless execution of customer programs and initiatives.
  • Contribute customer insights to annual plans, including Marketing, Commercial, and Innovation plans.

Organizational Development

  • Fully leverage all cross-functional resources to deliver best-in-class capabilities to customers, including selling.
