Requirements

Candidates must have over 10 years of experience in Director of Revenue or Sales Operations roles, with demonstrated success in building strategy, teams, and processes within high-growth, multi-business unit environments. A strong understanding of data structures and SQL is required, along with proficiency in identifying, implementing, and optimizing automation tools like Salesforce and Power BI. Experience in a manufacturing business is strongly preferred, and a Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related field is necessary; an MBA is a plus. Familiarity with government contracting, ITAR compliance, or defense procurement cycles is also preferred.

Responsibilities

The Director of Revenue Operations will own the design and execution of revenue reporting, forecasting, and pipeline analysis, partnering with leadership on annual planning, quota setting, and go-to-market strategies. This role involves optimizing sales processes, enforcing CRM best practices, managing approval workflows, and implementing sales tools, dashboards, and KPIs. Responsibilities also include supporting sales training and enablement, aligning revenue and margin activities across departments, coordinating new product introductions, driving strategic initiatives, leading sales compensation design and administration, and overseeing the evaluation and implementation of commercial technology stack tools to resolve process bottlenecks. The Director will also drive the optimization of the commercial engine by developing a framework to align data, processes, tools, and people for predictable revenue and profitability growth.
