Candidates should possess 12+ years of experience in product design, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role within consumer-facing environments, demonstrating expertise in creating simple, intuitive, and innovative design solutions, and the ability to attract and retain top design talent. They should also have hands-on experience with A/B testing, multivariate testing, and rapid prototyping methodologies, as well as familiarity with AI and Gen AI product development, personalization strategies, and user segmentation.
The Director of Product Design will develop and lead a Member Growth and Engagement vision and strategy in collaboration with cross-functional leaders, balancing transformative initiatives with experimentation and iteration to drive engagement and retention. They will oversee the creation of compelling user experiences that drive growth metrics, analyze qualitative and quantitative data through A/B experiments, lead and mentor a high-performing team of product designers and cross-functional partners, report findings to stakeholders, engage with executives to discuss opportunities and risks, and collaborate with teams across various departments to create actionable product strategies that drive the business.
