Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in product design for SaaS or enterprise software, with at least 3+ years in a leadership capacity
  • A technical mindset — comfortable collaborating with engineers, understanding data models, and designing for complex, data-rich workflows
  • Experience building or integrating AI-powered user experiences, ideally in B2B or technical domains
  • Deep understanding of enterprise UX patterns, systems thinking, org complexity, and scale requirements
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills — able to influence through clarity, empathy, and vision
  • Experience understanding and measuring successful business outcomes
  • A portfolio (or equivalent body of work) demonstrating design leadership across complex, multi-surface digital products
  • Humility, a performance-driven attitude, and a team-player approach

Responsibilities

  • Define and communicate the product design vision, ensuring alignment with company goals and product strategy
  • Champion an AI-first design approach, integrating emerging technologies and design methodologies to reshape our product for an AI future
  • Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to drive innovation, prioritize design initiatives, and leverage the user experience to achieve business outcomes
  • Manage and mentor a high-performing team of designers
  • Create and evangelize design principles, standards, and processes that scale across product lines
  • Oversee the end-to-end design process — from discovery and research to interaction design, prototyping, and usability testing
  • Improve the craft of design, incorporating AI tools/techniques and modern SDLC
  • Maintain and enhance a robust design system that accelerates development velocity and improves usability
  • Use data-driven insights and customer feedback to iterate and continuously improve the user experience
  • Bring deep empathy for users (from engineering leaders to enterprise executives) and understanding of their needs to translate complex workflows into intuitive, human-centered experiences
  • Lead research efforts and turn qualitative and quantitative insights into actionable design decisions
  • Ensure design thinking and customer understanding are embedded throughout the product development lifecycle
