Candidates should possess a strong background in managing strategic partnerships and driving business development with merchant partners, particularly within the Gift Card, Pre-Paid, Incentives, Fintech, or payments industries. Fluency in German is required, along with the ability to build strong, lasting relationships with partners and stakeholders across EMEA & APAC. Experience in collaborating with internal teams to align partnership goals with broader business objectives is also necessary.
As the Strategic Partnerships Account Director, you will be responsible for building and nurturing strong, strategic merchant partnerships across EMEA & APAC, developing meaningful, long-term relationships and identifying new partnership opportunities. You will collaborate cross-functionally with Customer Accounts, Product & Engineering, and Marketing teams to support Runa’s mission and contribute towards company goals. Furthermore, you will support and mentor team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and shared success, and negotiating agreements that benefit both Runa and its partners.
