Requirements

Candidates should possess a minimum of 7-10 years of payroll experience, with at least 5 years of experience managing multi-country payroll, ideally within an Employer of Record (EOR) or related environment. They must have startup experience and demonstrate a strong understanding of international tax regulations, labor laws, and reporting requirements across more than 10 countries.

Responsibilities

The Director of Finance will oversee and process payroll for employees in over 10+ countries, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all payroll cycles, and collaborate with stakeholders to maintain compliance with country-specific regulations. They will also work closely with the founders to implement the token grant administration product alongside payroll, prepare detailed financials and payroll reports, analyze trends and variances, and provide insights for efficiency improvements. Additionally, the Director of Finance will serve as a subject matter expert for payroll issues, navigate complex tax situations, and be willing to perform day-to-day payroll processing tasks while managing strategic projects.
