The Director, Modeling & Analytics will provide consolidated analytics and insights on internal metrics and external trends for MPC and MPLX. This role involves collaborating with CFO organization functions to produce routine and ad hoc analyses for executive materials and supporting the investor relations team during the quarterly earnings process. Responsibilities include being a key decision-maker for the modeling and analytics team, ensuring timely delivery of analyses, identifying key insights, and disseminating data across the organization. The Director will develop and manage strategic initiatives, serve as a key point of contact for internal leaders and external advisors, and identify risks and opportunities to improve operational and financial performance. They will also establish an analytical framework for total shareholder return, oversee financial results, and lead the development and execution of monthly and quarterly presentations to executive leadership. Additionally, this position provides senior-level support for various groups, ensures appropriate communication, and partners with leaders to develop short and long-term financial strategies. The Director is responsible for leading and developing a high-performing team, setting goals, monitoring performance, and creating development programs to enhance business acumen and analytical skills.
