Requirements

Candidates must possess at least 8 years of total work experience, including 4+ years in investment banking and/or equity research at a top-tier firm, and 2+ years of investor relations experience. Additional experience in Corporate Strategy, Corporate Development, Strategic Finance, or Private Equity is preferred. A deep understanding of complex financial modeling, valuation, corporate finance, and capital markets is essential, along with exceptional attention to detail, analytical and strategic thinking skills. The ability to structure complex problems, drive data-driven decisions, and communicate complex financial analysis clearly to executive audiences and across business units is required. Significant experience engaging directly with senior executives and external stakeholders, along with a proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders, is also necessary.

Responsibilities

This role will own the quarterly earnings process, including messaging, earnings call preparation, investor presentations, and Q&A preparation for the CEO and CFO. Responsibilities include shaping the company's investor relations narrative, developing materials for investor conferences, roadshows, and board meetings, and tracking investor sentiment, competitor earnings, and market trends. The Director will also develop a comprehensive strategy for expanding the investor base through proactive targeting and outreach. Key duties include performing complex financial modeling and scenario analysis, developing robust analytical frameworks for financial and operational insights, and providing comprehensive assessments of market and industry trends. Furthermore, the role involves sourcing, evaluating, and executing M&A and investment opportunities, leading strategic assessments, valuation analysis, and due diligence. This includes developing detailed financial models and scenario analyses for potential acquisitions, partnerships, and investments, and supporting capital markets activities. The Director will also work with the CFO and executive team to define growth priorities, identify and create business plans for new growth and monetization opportunities, and develop data-driven frameworks to assess ROI and optimize resource allocation. Finally, the role includes evaluating and monetizing the company’s data assets to unlock additional business value.
