Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in computer science, communications, business, or a related field, along with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. A minimum of 10 years of experience in product management, marketing technology, or analytics strategy, preferably with data products, is required. Additionally, at least 5 years of people management experience and a proven track record of building and scaling data products in complex, matrixed organizations are necessary. A strong understanding of data architecture, governance, and privacy regulations is essential, and certification in product management and/or agile methodologies is preferred. A Master's degree or MBA is also considered a plus.

Responsibilities

The Director, Marketing Data Products will lead the strategy, development, and lifecycle management of data products that power Humana's marketing ecosystem, focusing on personalization, segmentation, targeting, and performance measurement. This includes defining and owning the roadmap for data products, translating business needs into scalable data solutions, and managing product backlogs using agile methodologies. The role involves planning, prioritizing, and delivering high-quality data, ensuring data products meet accuracy and usability standards, and overseeing multiple development products. Responsibilities also include serving as the head product owner for IT and vendor-delivered data solutions, leading investment planning, and managing the total cost of ownership for data platforms. Collaboration with marketing, analytics, compliance, and technology teams is crucial to ensure business and regulatory requirements are met, and driving adoption and education across teams is expected. Furthermore, the role requires leading and developing a high-performing team of product managers, analysts, and data specialists, setting clear goals, providing coaching, and fostering a culture of innovation. Monitoring product performance, usage, and business impact, and continuously improving data product functionality based on metrics and user feedback are also key duties.
