Preferred qualifications include ICS 300/400 certifications, experience leading large-scale operations, developing teams, stakeholder engagement, financial stewardship, and proficiency with Asana and Microsoft Office Suite. Military veterans, first responders, and those with a stable internet connection and valid driver's license are strongly encouraged to apply.
The Director, Field Operations will lead all domestic and international field operations, ensuring operational excellence and mission success from readiness to demobilization. This role involves coordinating HQ departments and the Emergency Operations Centre, building and managing a national Field Leadership Cadre, and overseeing the Annual Training Plan and logistics systems. The Director will also develop relationships with emergency management stakeholders, guide volunteer leadership engagements, and coach staff on volunteer-facing practices.
