  • Ability to design, implement, and support programs ensuring highest quality end product while meeting/exceeding financial goals
  • Experience acting as construction liaison to company functions, divisions, communities, and industry groups
  • Capability to participate in strategic and tactical planning at departmental and community levels
  • Oversight of estimated job cost projection, general bid, pricing update, contracts, and purchase order processes per company policy
  • Preparation, management, and operation within approved budgets for Construction Operations departments
  • Monitoring and protection of company assets
  • Accountability for completing construction projects on time, within budget, and within quality standards
  • Ensuring appropriate staffing to meet department needs
  • Utilization of recruiting and selection tools/processes

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and direct residential construction activities, materials management, and contract administration
  • Oversee field operations, commercial projects, semi-custom programs, and/or customer service functions
  • Design, implement, and support programs resulting in lowest possible production costs consistent with quality standards established by Area Management Team
  • Design, implement, and support programs ensuring highest quality end product while meeting/exceeding target financial goals
  • Act as construction liaison to other company functions/divisions, communities, and construction/development industry groups
  • Participate in strategic and tactical planning on departmental and community levels
  • Oversee estimated job cost projection, general bid, pricing update, contracts, and purchase order processes as directed
  • Prepare, manage, and operate within approved budgets for all departments under Construction Operations
  • Monitor and protect company assets
